India has no statute on call recording as such. Its telephone laws were written to control government phone tapping, and the courts have worked out the rest one case at a time. The short answer is yes: recording a call is legal in India if you are one of the people on it, and no law says everyone on the call must agree first. The limits fall on how a recording is used, shared and kept, and listening in on other people's calls is something only the government may order.
