Sample scripts

Three Bangla scripts to start from

Each one fits in a single play. Hear it, then copy it into the playground and change it to your own topic.

  • Shorts hook · 137 characters · about 9 s

Three reasons your phone battery drains

In one minute, learn three reasons your phone battery runs out fast. Almost everyone makes mistake number two! Save the video, it will come in handy.

How to read it: Bangla Shorts work best with the number up front (তিনটা কারণ) and the promise straight after. Put the exclamation on the line you want to land; the voice lifts on it. Nupur's warm read keeps a quick hook friendly.

  • Story narration · 135 characters · about 9 s

An audio story (অডিও গল্প) at the river ghat

A storm rose that evening. Just before the last boat left the ghat, an unknown old man told the boatman: take me across, I have to come back tonight.

How to read it: Audio-story channels (ভূতের গল্প, রহস্য গল্প) run long, so write in short paragraphs and generate one paragraph at a time. Leave the dialogue unquoted, as here, and let a comma do the pause; Arindam's calm read suits slow, late-night stories.

  • Explainer · 153 characters · about 10 s

Mobile banking: check before you send

Before sending money by mobile banking, check the number twice. Getting money back from a wrong number is not easy. And never give your PIN or OTP to anyone who calls and asks.

How to read it: Explainers land best one instruction per sentence. Write OTP and PIN the way viewers say them, in Bangla letters (ওটিপি, পিন) or in English letters; both are read in the same voice.

More ready-made scripts, with timings, are in the voice-over script templates.

TikTok and Reels

AI voice for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels

Bangla short videos go up on TikTok, Facebook Reels and Instagram Reels, and many creators in Bangladesh and West Bengal post the same video to all three. Make the voice-over once, put it in your edit, and upload one 9:16 export everywhere.

With Nupur, Bangla came out at about 880 characters a minute, so a 30-second video is about 440 characters and a 60-second one about 880.

A short home-tip video · 181 characters · about 12 s

Want to save cooking gas? Do three easy things. Cook with the lid on, soak the rice first, and don't let the flame spread past the pot. You'll see the cylinder last longer than before.

How to read it: One instruction per clause, with commas between them so the voice keeps moving through the list. The last sentence is the payoff; keep it short.

  1. 1

    Save the audio

Sign up free, generate the script in the dashboard and tap Download audio to save a WAV file. Make one voice-over and use the same exported video on all three platforms.
  2. 2

Add it in your video editor

Import the saved file into VN, InShot, Edits or CapCut (where available):
    • VN: in the music library, open Yours, tap the ⋮ (More) menu and choose File App to import the file. Tap the music clip on the timeline to set its volume. VN Help: Import music and audio.
    • InShot: add the file through InShot's music tools, which take music and voice-overs. InShot has no written help page for this, so the name of the import option can differ between versions. InShot on the App Store.
    • Instagram's Edits app: open your project, tap Audio in the toolbar at the bottom, then tap the folder icon to import the file. To set how loud a layer is, tap it, then Volume. Instagram Help: Edit your video on Edits.
    • CapCut (where available): tap Audio, choose to upload audio from your device rather than the built-in library, then drag the clip into place on the timeline. CapCut's guide to adding audio.
  3. 3

    Post it on TikTok

In the TikTok app, tap the + (Add post) button at the bottom, tap Upload, pick the exported video and follow the screens to post (TikTok Help).
  4. 4

Post it as an Instagram reel

Keep the project vertical (9:16) and export it. In Instagram, tap + (Create), choose Reel, pick the video from your camera roll, tap Next, then Share (Instagram Help). If you edited in Edits, its export screen can also share the video straight to Instagram as a reel (Edits help).
  5. 5

Post it as a Facebook reel

In the Facebook app, tap + at the top right of Feed and choose Reel, add the video from your gallery with the Photo button at the bottom left, tap Next, then Share now (Meta Business Help).

These steps follow each app's own pages as checked on 26 October 2026. Button names move between app versions and can differ between iPhone and Android, so if one is not where it says, the linked page has the current steps.

Monetised Facebook Reels: Meta limits unoriginal and reposted content, not AI voices. Its post on combating unoriginal content names voice-over and commentary as ways of adding something of your own, and says that only stitching clips together or adding a watermark does not count. Write your own script and use footage you made or have the rights to.

  • One export, three apps. Export one 9:16 video and upload it to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook; the same voice-over works on all three.
  • Want a Bangladeshi accent? Nupur and Arindam are Indian Bengali voices. Clone your own voice from 10 seconds and the clone keeps your accent.

Bangla voices for creators

How to

Make a Bangla voice-over video in 5 steps

  1. 1

    Write the script

Write in চলিত ভাষা, the everyday standard, the way you would say it on camera. Bangladeshi forms like তিনটা and পানি are read as written, so use the words your audience uses.

  2. 2

    Pick a voice

Play the same line in two or three of the voices on this page and keep the one that fits your channel. Use one voice for every video, so viewers learn to recognise it.

  3. 3

Play it, then save the audio

Each play takes up to 220 characters, about 15 seconds of Bengali, and plays in your browser only, so use it to check how the voice reads your lines. To save the audio, sign up free: the dashboard draws on your 10,000 free characters and saves each clip as a WAV file, and the API returns MP3 when you ask for "output_format": "mp3".

  4. 4

Add it in your video editor

Import the saved WAV or MP3 files into VN, InShot, Edits or CapCut (where available) as audio. Lay the clips on the audio track in order, trim the gaps, and line each sentence up with its shot.

  5. 5

    Upload

Export and upload to YouTube, Shorts, Instagram Reels or Facebook. If the voice is realistic enough that viewers could take it for a real person, tick YouTube's altered or synthetic content label. YouTube’s help page explains when it applies.

Commercial use

Use Bangla AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

The full wording is in our terms of service.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Bangla

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Bangla, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Bangla script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Bangla, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

FAQ

Bangla voice-over questions

Yes, to try. The playground on this page plays up to 220 characters at a time in your browser, with no account. A free account adds 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required, and lets you save the audio as a file. After that it is $0.03125 per 1,000 characters (about ৳3.87 or ₹2.97), the same rate for every language.

220 characters per play without an account, which is two or three sentences, about 15 seconds of Bengali with Nupur, enough to hear how a voice reads your lines. For a full video, sign up free, generate the script scene by scene in the dashboard with your 10,000 free characters, and join the clips in your editor.

Yes, after free sign-up. The playground on this page plays audio in your browser only, so use it to pick the voice. Once you sign up free, the dashboard saves each clip as a WAV file with Download audio, and the API returns MP3 when you set "output_format": "mp3". Then add the file in VN, InShot, Edits or CapCut (where available).

Yes. Audio you generate, on the free tier or with paid credits, can be used on monetised YouTube channels, Shorts, Reels and in ads, with no attribution. YouTube limits mass-produced, repetitive videos, not AI voices, so write your own script and keep your edits original. The monetisation decision is YouTube's.

The audio you generate is yours to use, including commercially, with no attribution and no royalties to Sonex Labs. You are responsible for the script itself: if you read someone else's text, you need their permission.

The voices are expressive and follow your punctuation: a question mark lifts the line, an exclamation mark gives it energy, a full stop lets it settle and a comma adds a short pause. There are no emotion or style presets, so the script is where you shape the read. Developers can also set the pace with the API's speed parameter (0.5 to 2.0).

Yes. The page works in a phone browser: paste the script, pick a voice and play it to check the read. To save the audio, sign up free and use the dashboard in the same browser; it saves each clip as a WAV file you can add in VN, InShot, Edits or CapCut (where available). There is no app to install.

Yes. Record a 10-second sample and Pāṇini clones your voice; every free account includes one clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed, and never a public figure.

Yes. A Sonex voice clone is not tied to the language it was recorded in. Type a Bangla script and your clone reads it in your own voice, with Bangla pronunciation. Your natural accent carries over, so it sounds like you speaking Bangla.

No. Nupur and Arindam are Bengali voices recorded in India. The written language is the same, so Bangladeshi spellings and words are read as written, but the accent is Indian Bengali. For a Dhaka or Chattogram accent, clone a native speaker's voice (your own, or with their consent) from a 10-second recording.

The AI voice is not what Meta restricts: its rules target unoriginal or reposted content. Its July 2025 post on combating unoriginal content (Meta for Creators) is about reusing other creators' videos, photos or text without adding anything, and about duplicate copies; it does not mention AI voices, and it names voice-over and commentary as ways of adding something of your own. So write your own script, use footage you made or have the rights to, and let the AI voice read your words. The link to Meta's post is in the TikTok and Reels section above.
