How voices work
One voice, any language
Each voice is grouped under the language its speaker recorded in. That is where it sounds most native, but it is not a limit: the language comes from the text you type, so any voice can read any of the 250+ languages Pāṇini TTS supports. The speaker's accent carries over, so a Hindi voice reading English sounds like a Hindi speaker reading English.
There are no style or speed controls in the playground. The voices are expressive and follow your punctuation, so commas and full stops shape the pauses. For a voice that sounds like you, make a voice clone from a 10-second sample; one clone comes with every free account.
