Hindi AI voice generator

Pick a Hindi voice in the playground, or clone your own. Priya, Anchal and Riya (female) and Alok (male) are Hindi platform voices, and a voice cloned from a 10-second recording speaks Hindi in that speaker's accent. Every voice reads the same script, so you can compare them on your own text before you choose.

Free Hindi text to speech: what you get

  • Play up to 220 characters of Hindi at a time in the playground above, with no account.
  • Sign up free for 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required.
  • After sign-up, get MP3 from the API or download clips from the dashboard.
  • After the free characters, $0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same rate for every language.

Convert Hindi text to audio (MP3)

Sign up free, then send Hindi text to the API with "output_format": "mp3" and save the file, or generate clips in the dashboard and download them. Scripts longer than the playground's 220 characters work the same way.

Hindi text reader for longer text

Paste up to 220 characters at a time here; for articles, notices or scripts, sign up and send the full text through the dashboard or the API. Write numbers the way they should be heard, such as "दस बजे" for a time and "₹2,500" for an amount.

About Hindi

How Hindi speech is read

Most Hindi text written for customers is not textbook Hindi. Order updates, EMI reminders and appointment calls switch to English for words like order, delivery, link and refund, and often mix Devanagari with Latin script in the same sentence. Pāṇini TTS reads that mixed text in one Hindi voice, without switching to an English accent halfway through.

Hindi on a phone call also sounds different from Hindi in a studio. Pāṇini is trained on 8 kHz telephone audio, so a reminder call stays clear on a feature phone and a noisy line.

Use cases

Hindi voice use cases

Appointment and payment reminders

Clinics, lenders and utilities across North India confirm appointments and due dates in the language most of their customers speak at home.

Support and order updates

E-commerce and logistics teams turn the Hinglish messages they already send by SMS into voice calls without rewriting them.

Narration and dubbing

Creators produce Hindi narration for explainers, audiobooks and short drama, and keep one cloned narrator across episodes.

Commercial use

Use Hindi AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Hindi

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Hindi, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Hindi script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Hindi, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

How voice cloning works

API

Hindi TTS API

One request returns Hindi audio as MP3. The language is detected from the text, so no language setting is needed. Pāṇini TTS starts streaming audio in under 200 ms (time to first byte).
