Spanish AI voice generator

Sofia, a native Spanish platform voice, reads the playground above. Any Sonex Labs voice can also read Spanish, keeping its own accent, and a voice cloned from a 10-second recording of a Spanish speaker carries that speaker's accent.

Free Spanish text to speech: what you get

  • Play up to 220 characters of Spanish at a time in the playground above, with no account.
  • Sign up free for 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required.
  • After sign-up, get MP3 from the API or download clips from the dashboard.
  • After the free characters, $0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same rate for every language.

Paste up to 220 characters of Spanish here to have it read out loud; sign up to read longer text through the dashboard or the API. Write currencies in words when "$" could mean pesos or dollars, and spell out abbreviations such as "Ud." and "Sra.".

About Spanish

How Spanish speech is read

Spanish has one written standard and many spoken ones. Spain says vosotros and distinguishes the "th" in gracias; most of Latin America uses ustedes and seseo. Argentina, Uruguay and much of Central America use vos instead of tú ("¿vos querés?"). A call script also has to choose between tú and usted: banks and clinics in Mexico or Colombia usually say usted, while many brands in Spain tutean their customers. The samples on this page include both, read by Sofia, a native Spanish platform voice, and the playground opens with a usted reminder.

Spanish is also the second language of US customer service. A caller in Los Angeles or Miami may switch between English and Spanish in one sentence ("le mandamos el tracking number por text"). Pāṇini reads Spanglish in one voice, and the same voice can answer the English-only caller next, at the same price.

Commercial use

Use Spanish AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Spanish

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Spanish, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Spanish script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Spanish, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

How voice cloning works

API

Spanish TTS API

One request returns Spanish audio as MP3. The language is detected from the text, so no language setting is needed. Pāṇini TTS starts streaming audio in under 200 ms (time to first byte).

Yes. Audio you generate, on the free tier or with paid credits, can be used on monetised YouTube channels, Shorts, Reels and in ads, with no attribution. The audio you generate is yours to use, including commercially, with no attribution and no royalties to Sonex Labs. You are responsible for the script itself: if you read someone else's text, you need their permission.

Yes. A Sonex voice clone is not tied to the language it was recorded in. Type a Spanish script and your clone reads it in your own voice, with Spanish pronunciation. Your natural accent carries over, so it sounds like you speaking Spanish.
