Gujarati AI calling agents for your business

A Gujarati AI calling agent calls your customers, or answers when they call, in everyday Gujarati with the English and Hindi words people in Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot use. It handles reminders, payment follow-ups, order confirmation, lead calls and support, and passes the call to your team when a person is needed.

The Gujarati demo agent calls a shop owner about an unpaid invoice for a made-up Ahmedabad wholesale distributor. Play the shop owner: promise a date, say it is paid or ask for the bill again. This is a live agent with sample data, not a recording. Calls end after 90 seconds; no phone number or sign-up needed.

What it does

Five jobs Gujarati calling agents take on first.

Each one is a short, repeatable conversation with a clear outcome, which is where an agent saves a team the most time.

Reminders

Bill, renewal and appointment reminders: “કાલે સવારે સાડા દસ વાગ્યે appointment છે, આવી શકશો?” Outbound calling campaigns

Payment collections

Follow-up on pending invoices with retailers and customers, with the promised date logged to your system. Calling windows and retries

Order confirmation

Order confirmation with retailers and COD confirmation with online buyers, before dispatch. The AI telecaller

Customer support

Order, delivery and account questions on your number, in Gujarati, Hindi or English. AI IVR on your number

How Gujarati callers talk

Gujarati business calls mix English and Hindi freely.

Gujarati business calls move between Gujarati, English and Hindi without a pause: “payment ક્યારે થશે?”, “order confirm કરી દઉં?”. Valmiki STT follows those switches without being told the language, and Pāṇini TTS reads Gujarati script and English words in one voice.

Ahmedabad and central Gujarat speech is close to the written standard; Surti in the south and Kathiawadi in Saurashtra have their own sounds and words. Kutchi, spoken in Kutch, is a separate language that many speakers mix with Gujarati.

Gujarati callers often address each other by name with ભાઈ or બેન, which marks gender. An agent that has not been told the customer's gender should use the name with જી and the respectful તમે forms instead.

Lines an agent might say

  • તમારું બિલ પંદર તારીખે due છે.

Your bill is due on the 15th.

  • સાડા ચાર વાગ્યે ચાલશે?

    Will 4:30 work?

  • બાર હજાર પાંચસો રૂપિયા

    ₹12,500

  • દોઢ લાખ

    1.5 lakh

Numbers, dates and times

Lakhs, invoices and times in Gujarati.

Gujarati number words up to 99 are irregular, as in Hindi, and amounts are grouped in લાખ and કરોડ; દોઢ is 1.5 and અઢી is 2.5. Many traders say amounts in English or switch between the two, so pick a style and write numbers out as words in the agent's instructions.

Times use સવા for a quarter past, સાડા for half past and પોણા for a quarter to, so 4:30 is સાડા ચાર. Invoice numbers, GST numbers, OTPs and phone numbers should be read character by character.

How it works

Three models handle every turn of the call.

The caller speaks, Valmiki STT writes it down, Vyas LLM decides the reply, and Pāṇini TTS says it.

  1. 01

    Valmiki STT listens

Valmiki STT transcribes Gujarati, Hindi and English in the same call and detects the language without being told.
  2. 02

    Vyas LLM decides

Vyas LLM reads the transcript with your instructions and picks the next step: answer, ask one question, use one of your tools, or transfer the call.
  3. 03

    Pāṇini TTS speaks

Pāṇini TTS answers in a Gujarati voice, reading Gujarati script and English words alike. Clone a native speaker from a 10-second sample for a local accent.
  4. 04

    Your tools and your team

Agents support MCP and tool calling during a call. The agent can transfer the call live to a person on your team. Every call has a recording and a transcript.

Rules

What the calling rules ask of an AI agent.

An opening line that says so

નમસ્તે, આ [કંપની] તરફથી AI assistant નો call છે, અને આ call record થઈ રહ્યો છે.

Hello, this is an AI assistant calling for [company], and this call is being recorded.

AI calling is legal in India, and the rules for business calls apply to an AI agent as they do to a person. TRAI now treats every call dialled by software, AI agents included, as an A2P call: from 27 November 2026 the business must declare these calls, and the numbers it calls from, to its telecom operator in advance. Promotional calls must come from 140 numbers, and service calls from banks, insurers and other regulated firms from the 1600 series. Read TRAI's rules on robocalls and commercial calls and TRAI's 140, 1600 and 1601 number series.

For overdue loans, the RBI's recovery directions apply from 1 January 2027: calls only between 08:00 and 19:00, every recovery call recorded and kept for six months, and the debt discussed only with the borrower or guarantor. They do not mention AI, so hold an AI agent to the same standard as a person. See RBI's recovery rules for calls. Most duties for call recordings under the DPDP Rules start on 13 May 2027 (DPDP and call recordings).

Telling the caller in the first line that the call is with an AI agent and is recorded is the simple, safe default everywhere. More openings are in the AI disclosure and recording-notice scripts, and country rules in AI calling rules by country. These are summaries, not legal advice.

Callers with a Kathiawadi or Surti accent are transcribed as Gujarati. Accuracy on each dialect has not been measured, so test with callers from your region. Kutchi is a separate language and is not in Valmiki's list.

Yes. Upload the list, set the calling window and retries, and the agent calls each retailer, asks when the invoice will be paid and records the answer, which can go to your CRM through HubSpot, Salesforce, n8n, Zapier or Make.

Character by character, if its instructions say so. Give one example in the prompt and the agent follows it.

Only when it knows who is on the line. Otherwise the customer's name with જી is safe and polite.
