Billed separately

What your telephony provider bills.

Most Indian businesses connect the telephony account that already holds their numbers. Sonex adds no minute charge for telephony you bring; your provider bills its own per-minute call charges, its pulse (often 30 or 60 seconds), and number rental, directly to you. Your provider is also where DLT registration, the 140 and 1600 number series and caller ID are handled.

The AI calling cost calculator lists published rates for several Indian telephony providers and works out a month line by line. It builds a minute from its parts (speech recognition, speech, the LLM and telephony), so its estimate can differ from the published per-minute price above. For how other platforms count their prices, read AI calling agent cost per minute in India.

Before you call, check TRAI's rules on robocalls and commercial calls and TRAI's 140, 1600 and 1601 number series; from 27 November 2026, calls placed by software must be declared to your operator in advance.
