There is no native Moroccan Arabic platform voice yet, so the playground uses Nour, a voice recorded in another language: the Moroccan Arabic text is read correctly, in that voice's accent. For a local accent, clone a native Moroccan Arabic speaker from a 10-second recording and use that voice for every clip.
Sign up free, then send Moroccan Arabic text to the API with "output_format": "mp3" and save the file, or generate clips in the dashboard and download them. Scripts longer than the playground's 220 characters work the same way.
About Moroccan Arabic (Darija)
Darija is the everyday language of Morocco and one of the dialects furthest from MSA. Short vowels drop out, so words run into clusters of consonants that Middle Eastern listeners find hard to follow. A Moroccan asks with "واش" (question word: is it, do you), says "بزاف" (a lot), "دابا" (now), "واخا" (OK) and "بغيت" (I want). The first-person verb starts with n-, as in "نقدر" (I can), and possession uses "ديال": "الفاتورة ديالك" (your bill). Amazigh and Spanish left words too.
French runs through Moroccan customer messages: "الفاتورة" sits beside "la facture", "الريشارج" (recharge), "الكونط" (account), "مرسي" (thanks), and many people text Darija in Latin letters. Pāṇini reads Arabic mixed with French in one voice. A Moroccan caller understands MSA but hears it as the language of the news; a telecom or bank that answers in Darija sounds like it is in Casablanca.

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).
Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.
Voice cloning
Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Moroccan Arabic (Darija), and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Moroccan Arabic (Darija) script.
