Chadian Arabic AI voice generator

There is no native Chadian Arabic platform voice yet, so the playground uses Nour, a voice recorded in another language: the Chadian Arabic text is read correctly, in that voice's accent. For a local accent, clone a native Chadian Arabic speaker from a 10-second recording and use that voice for every clip.

About Chadian Arabic

How Chadian Arabic speech is read

Chadian Arabic is the main lingua franca of Chad: in N'Djamena's markets people who speak Sara, Kanembu or other languages at home switch to it to buy, sell and talk business. It belongs to the Arabic of the Sudanic belt, close to the Arabic of Darfur, and differs from MSA in sound and grammar; many of the throat sounds of MSA are weakened or merged. Greetings lean on "عافية" (well, fine), "شنو" means what, and "سمح" means good or nice.

Chad's official languages are French and Modern Standard Arabic, so customer messages mix Chadian Arabic with French words such as "الكارت" and "مرسي". Pāṇini reads Arabic mixed with French in one voice. Many Chadians, especially outside the educated elite, follow spoken Chadian Arabic far better than MSA, which is why a reminder in the everyday language is more likely to be understood the first time it is heard.

Commercial use

Use Chadian Arabic AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Chadian Arabic

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Chadian Arabic, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Chadian Arabic script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Chadian Arabic, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

API

Chadian Arabic TTS API

One request returns Chadian Arabic audio as MP3. The language is detected from the text, so no language setting is needed. Pāṇini TTS starts streaming audio in under 200 ms (time to first byte).
