Dogri AI voice generator

There is no native Dogri platform voice yet, so the playground uses Alok, a voice recorded in another language: the Dogri text is read correctly, in that voice's accent. For a local accent, clone a native Dogri speaker from a 10-second recording and use that voice for every clip.

Free Dogri text to speech: what you get

  • Play up to 220 characters of Dogri at a time in the playground above, with no account.
  • Sign up free for 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required.
  • After sign-up, get MP3 from the API or download clips from the dashboard.
  • After the free characters, $0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same rate for every language.

Convert Dogri text to audio (MP3)

Sign up free, then send Dogri text to the API with "output_format": "mp3" and save the file, or generate clips in the dashboard and download them. Scripts longer than the playground's 220 characters work the same way.

About Dogri

How Dogri speech is read

Dogri sits close to Punjabi, and like Punjabi it uses tone: the same letters can carry a rising or falling pitch, and spelling with ह् after a vowel is often a hint of that tone rather than a sound of its own, as in केह् for "what". A Hindi reading of Dogri text tends to flatten those tones, which is the first thing a Jammu listener hears.

Dogri politeness lives in तुस for "you", the जी added to greetings and replies, and forms like तुंदी for "your". These matter on a call to an older customer. There is no dedicated Dogri platform voice yet: Alok, a Hindi voice, reads the samples on this page. For a voice that sounds like Jammu, clone one from 10 seconds of a native Dogri speaker.

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.

  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Dogri

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Dogri, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Dogri script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Dogri, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

How voice cloning works

API

Dogri TTS API

One request returns Dogri audio as MP3. The language is detected from the text, so no language setting is needed. Pāṇini TTS starts streaming audio in under 200 ms (time to first byte).

Yes. Audio you generate, on the free tier or with paid credits, can be used on monetised YouTube channels, Shorts, Reels and in ads, with no attribution. Yes. A Sonex voice clone is not tied to the language it was recorded in. Type a Dogri script and your clone reads it in your own voice, with Dogri pronunciation. Your natural accent carries over, so it sounds like you speaking Dogri.
