Turkish AI voice generator

There is no native Turkish platform voice yet, so the playground uses Tariq, a voice recorded in another language: the Turkish text is read correctly, in that voice's accent. For a local accent, clone a native Turkish speaker from a 10-second recording and use that voice for every clip.

Free Turkish text to speech: what you get

  • Play up to 220 characters of Turkish at a time in the playground above, with no account.
  • Sign up free for 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required.
  • After sign-up, get MP3 from the API or download clips from the dashboard.
  • After the free characters, $0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same rate for every language.

Convert Turkish text to audio (MP3)

Sign up free, then send Turkish text to the API with "output_format": "mp3" and save the file, or generate clips in the dashboard and download them. Scripts longer than the playground's 220 characters work the same way.

About Turkish

How Turkish speech is read

Turkish has been written in a Latin alphabet since 1928, with letters of its own: ç, ğ, ş, ö, ü and two i's, dotted i/İ and dotless ı/I. The dots are not decoration: kır is countryside and kir is dirt. The soft ğ is barely pronounced and lengthens the vowel before it, as in dağ (mountain). Turkish is agglutinative, so suffixes stack and follow vowel harmony, and one word can hold a clause: gönderilecek, "it will be sent". A voice has to keep stress and rhythm right across those long words.

The vocabulary shows Turkish history: saat (hour) and lütfen (please) came from Arabic, randevu (appointment) from French rendez-vous, and fatura (bill) from Italian. Those are the words of everyday customer contact in Turkey, where online orders arrive by kargo, hospital visits start with a randevu and bills come as fatura reminders. With several million people of Turkish origin in Germany alone, many service calls also cross borders. Polite siz forms, as in kargonuz (your parcel), keep a call courteous without sounding stiff.

Commercial use

Use Turkish AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Turkish

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Turkish, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Turkish script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Turkish, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

How voice cloning works

API

Turkish TTS API

One request returns Turkish audio as MP3. The language is detected from the text, so no language setting is needed. Pāṇini TTS starts streaming audio in under 200 ms (time to first byte).

Yes. A Sonex voice clone is not tied to the language it was recorded in. Type a Turkish script and your clone reads it in your own voice, with Turkish pronunciation. Your natural accent carries over, so it sounds like you speaking Turkish.
