Omani Arabic AI voice generator

There is no native Omani Arabic platform voice yet, so the playground uses Tariq, a voice recorded in another language: the Omani Arabic text is read correctly, in that voice's accent. For a local accent, clone a native Omani Arabic speaker from a 10-second recording and use that voice for every clip.

Free Omani Arabic text to speech: what you get

  • Play up to 220 characters of Omani Arabic at a time in the playground above, with no account.
  • Sign up free for 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required.
  • After sign-up, get MP3 from the API or download clips from the dashboard.
  • After the free characters, $0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same rate for every language.

Convert Omani Arabic text to audio (MP3)

Sign up free, then send Omani Arabic text to the API with "output_format": "mp3" and save the file, or generate clips in the dashboard and download them. Scripts longer than the playground's 220 characters work the same way.

About Omani Arabic

How Omani Arabic speech is read

Omani Arabic is related to the Gulf dialects next door but has features of its own, and speech in Muscat, the interior around Nizwa, the Batinah coast and Dhofar differs noticeably. Omanis ask "شحالك؟" (how are you?), and words such as "زين" (good) and "باكر" (tomorrow) are shared with the wider Gulf. ق is often a hard g, and the interior keeps older features such as separate feminine plural forms that many other dialects have lost.

Oman's history across the Indian Ocean, from Zanzibar to Baluchistan, brought Swahili, Baluchi and South Asian words into everyday speech, and today's customer messages add English ("الرصيد" next to "top-up", "الأبليكيشن"). Pāṇini reads Arabic mixed with English in one voice. Omani callers notice when a voice sounds Emirati or Saudi rather than Omani, so a bank or telecom that sounds local stands out.

Use Omani Arabic AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Omani Arabic

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Omani Arabic, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Omani Arabic script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Omani Arabic, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.
