Bhili AI voice generator

Lahari, a native Bhili platform voice, reads the playground above. Any Sonex Labs voice can also read Bhili, keeping its own accent, and a voice cloned from a 10-second recording of a Bhili speaker carries that speaker's accent.

Free Bhili text to speech: what you get

  • Play up to 220 characters of Bhili at a time in the playground above, with no account.
  • Sign up free for 10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card required.

Convert Bhili text to audio (MP3)

Sign up free, then send Bhili text to the API with "output_format": "mp3" and save the file, or generate clips in the dashboard and download them. Scripts longer than the playground's 220 characters work the same way.

About Bhili

How Bhili speech is read

Bhili is spoken by more people than many of India's scheduled languages, and it is closer to Gujarati than to Hindi: हूँ for "I", काय for "what", नी for "not". Many Bhili varieties also turn an s into an h, so Gujarati सवारे ("morning") becomes हवारे. There is no single Bhili; Wagdi in Banswara and Dungarpur, Bhilali in Jhabua and Alirajpur, and the Bhili of Nandurbar each sound different.

Health, banking and government calls in these districts usually arrive in Hindi or Gujarati, which many listeners, especially older ones, follow only partly. Pāṇini TTS has a dedicated Bhili platform voice, Lahari, who reads every sample on this page, so a call can sound like it comes from someone in the community.

Script
Devanagari (Gujarati script is also used in Gujarat)
Speakers
About 10.4 million speakers of Bhili/Bhilodi (2011 Census of India, language, grouping Bhili varieties such as Bhilali and Wagdi), counted as a language in its own right rather than under Hindi; the largest Indian language outside the Eighth Schedule
Where it is spoken
The Bhil country where four states meet: Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar and Barwani in Madhya Pradesh; Banswara, Dungarpur and Udaipur in Rajasthan; Dahod, Panchmahal and Sabarkantha in Gujarat; Nandurbar and Dhule in Maharashtra
Price
$0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same rate for every language.

Use Bhili AI voice-overs on monetised channels

  • Use the audio in YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, podcasts and ads, including on monetised channels.
  • This applies to the free tier and to paid credits. No attribution to Sonex Labs is needed.
  • You are responsible for your script, and for disclosing realistic synthetic content where a platform asks you to.

YouTube

Can a channel with an AI voice be monetised?

Yes, AI voices are allowed. What YouTube limits is mass-produced, repetitive content: videos made from a template with little original work. Its July 2025 update renamed that rule from “repetitious” to “inauthentic” content (YouTube’s monetisation policies).

Write your own script, add your own research or editing, and keep one consistent voice for the channel. Where a realistic AI voice could mislead viewers, use YouTube’s altered or synthetic content label. The monetisation decision is always YouTube’s.

Voice cloning

Your own voice, speaking Bhili

Clone your voice from a 10-second recording. Your clone speaks Bhili, and every other language Pāṇini supports, in your own voice. The language comes from the text you type, so a clone recorded in English or Hindi can read a Bhili script.

Your accent comes with it: a clone sounds like you speaking Bhili, not like a different native speaker. Every free account includes one voice clone. Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.

How voice cloning works

API

Bhili TTS API

One request returns Bhili audio as MP3. The language is detected from the text, so no language setting is needed. Pāṇini TTS starts streaming audio in under 200 ms (time to first byte).

Yes, after free sign-up. The playground on this page plays audio in your browser only, up to 220 characters at a time, so you can check the voice first. Sign up free (10,000 characters and one voice clone, no card): the dashboard saves each clip as a WAV file with Download audio, and the API returns MP3 when you set "output_format": "mp3".

Yes. Lahari is a native Bhili platform voice. You can also clone a voice from 10 seconds of a speaker of your own Bhili variety.

Bhili varies from district to district. Write the variety your listeners use; the voice reads it as written, and a clone from a local speaker matches the accent most closely.

Devanagari is the safer choice; check a sample in Gujarati script before relying on it.

$0.03125 per 1,000 characters, the same as every language.

Yes. Audio you generate, on the free tier or with paid credits, can be used on monetised YouTube channels, Shorts, Reels and in ads, with no attribution. YouTube limits mass-produced, repetitive videos, not AI voices, so write your own script and keep your edits original. The monetisation decision is YouTube's.

The audio you generate is yours to use, including commercially, with no attribution and no royalties to Sonex Labs. You are responsible for the script itself: if you read someone else's text, you need their permission.

Yes. A Sonex voice clone is not tied to the language it was recorded in. Type a Bhili script and your clone reads it in your own voice, with Bhili pronunciation. Your natural accent carries over, so it sounds like you speaking Bhili.
